Part One of the season focuses on the trends on a broad scale which include:
- Metallic
- Sheer
- Boho
- Clear Plastic
- 60's Fashion
- Monochrome
Metallics do not have to follow your stereotypical space age look, this seasons look has a new feel and new interpretation from elegant brocades to beautiful pastels, a perfect look for sophisticated work wear or cocktails on Saturday night.
The Sheer look embraces the brave among us this season with a 'Dare to Bare' look. It can be achieved from the subtle to the outright exhibitionist and looks fabulous from day to evening wear.

Now the trend that is Clear Plastic is very unique, unless you have the fabulous bodies featured in Robin Thicke's new music video this trend can be a little hard to pull off. Long gone are your spotty rain mac's its time to try the lightweight and open feel of clear perspex.
The 60's was an iconic era with bold prints, bright colours and very short hems. This season is no different, it embraces ultra femininity and revived the youthful feel of the era.
The Monochrome trend is one of my favourites, this fits perfectly with the 60's look and makes a sexy and chic style incorporating bold prints.
Trends are always referred to as going full circle and some of the above are no exception. Modern designers are giving these a new lease of life and producing some favourites perfect for our Spring/Summer wardrobes.
Part 2 follows tomorrow featuring this seasons staple items................
